Pantene Platinum Color Lock & $25 Sam’s Club Gift Card Giveaway – ends 4/27 #PanteneAtSams

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of SheSpeaks for Pantene Platinum at Sam’s Club. All thoughts and opinions are those of my own and were not influenced in any way.

As I’ve gotten older, my hair has continuously been getting darker and darker. My hair used to be a light platinum blonde almost. I’ve always received compliments on my hair, on how beautiful my color is. Well, since it’s been darker, I’ve been coloring to try to keep up with that lighter blonde color, but each time I try to make my hair just a bit darker. My hair is a medium to darker blonde now, with subtle highlights in it. I color my own hair at home and it seems like I’m always having to touch it up as it fades away. I just colored my hair last week, so now I’m going to take a 6-week trial of the Pantene Platinum Color Lock to see if it holds my color!

Here’s my picture before the 6-week trial

Pantene Platinum
I’m really looking forward to using Pantene Platinum Color Lock for the next 6 weeks. The first thing I noticed about the product was the smell, it’s smells amazing and brightens up your day in the shower by some aromatherapy. I always love when I can smell the “clean.” (If that makes sense.)

Hair Switch

I’m really hoping this product works great, which I don’t think I’ll be let down. I’ve been a user of Pantene products for over 10 years now, and I’ve never been disappointed with any of their products.

Pantene_Platinum_ColorPantene Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner is available for purchase at Sam’s Club. I really like the 40 oz. bottles with the pump and they are super convenient too. They also last a long time, and the pump dispenser makes it easy to use while in the shower.

Stay tuned for my update in just 6 weeks!

  1. laurie damrose says:

    Thank you for the contest!

  2. I hate everything about my hair! Its natural curly & thick. So no matter the weather I always have a poofy head of hair!

  3. Cindy Conner Bowling says:

My hair is dry and straight. Putting a perm in it only makes it drier.

  4. The only time I do not like my hair is when I get it permed or colored. They charge me for extra perm solution and extra color because my hair is so thick.

  5. Thank you so much for the Fantastic Review on Pantene Platinum Color Lock! My girlfriend colors and cuts my hair for free for me every 6-8 weeks (she is a hairdresser) I need to have mine colored as well right now. She also gave me some shampoo to hold the color as well. I’ve been using it and it’s been working pretty good for me! I’ll be looking for an update from you on the Pantene Platinum Color Lock and if it works out well, maybe I’ll get some of that as well! Thanks so much for sharing your fantastic review, the pictures and all the information on Pantene Platinum Color Lock with all of us! Thanks Again! Michele 🙂

  6. I like that I have thick, wavy hair. I don’t like that I cannot have bangs of any length except in the winter time, due to the humidity. I also don’t like that I am prematurely gray, and no matter what brand of hair color (or even having it professionally done) my hair grows fast and the color always seems to fade. I also like the natural color of my hair, medium to dark brown. I used to fight my curls/waves with straight irons, etc. but since I’ve started letting my waves do their own thing, all my friends say my hair really looks so much better than when I used to straighten it to within an inch of its life.

  7. I don’t like that my hair has been going gray since my early 20’s, but I get compliments on it. Apparently it looks like natural highlights. I’ve always had very thick hair, but now it’s starting to thin with age.

  8. I hate hate hate how tangly my hair gets. I am pretty sure it is due to being so thick and color treted but I just wish that I didn’t wake up with tangles in my hair. Trying to find product to help with it though.

  9. Margaret Smith says:

I don’t like that my hair seems to drying out and getting more split ends than it use to get. I do like that my hair is straight and easy to style.

  10. I don’t like the fact that as I get older my hair has lost its luster and it’s not near as thick as it used to be! I also find that it gets split ends way quicker then it used to!!

  11. My hair is not colored and I never use heat, yet it tangles easily. I recently had several inches off the bottom trimmed to make it healthy. Now I want to keep it that way.

  12. One thing that is annoying is that it frizzes! Especially when it is humid, I cannot tame my hair!! I hate it!

  13. Cynthia C says:

I have the straightest hair in the world! I have to fry it to put any kind of bend in it at all, so it’s very difficult to style.

  14. My hair is so coarse and thick. It is not soft to touch. It is frizzy and poofy

  15. Debbi Wellenstein says:

My hair has a mind of its own-it doesn’t do what I want it to do. I do like the color of my hair-gray!

  16. My biggest problems with my hair, is that the greys are coming in fast and fierce! I do color, but they come back before I can color again. I would love to try the color lock! I also could use some body to my hair!

  17. Crystal F says:

I like the length of it but I can’t stand how frizzy it can get. As long as I put mousse in it it’s fine. Thank you!

  18. jalapenomamamn says:

I like the length of my hair it’s short.
Also that it has a natural wave.
    form name Barbara Montag
    thank you

  19. Debbie Bray says:

My hair is very thin. It is also stick straight and doesn’t hold a curl or wave, so I must have perms

  20. I have very fine hair and so it makes hairdo choices almost impossible. I have had the same hair style since…..birth!

  21. laura rubenstein says:

I don’t like how flat my hair is. Also my scalp gets so oily it doesn’t look like I wash my hair but I do.

  22. Janice Cooper says:

I don’t like how my hair kinks up so fast due to the weather, exercising or night sweats. I have thick course hair so it can be a pain to do.

  23. Cynthia R says:

I like the color of my hair but I wish it was thicker with some more body and waves to it. even when I use product and curl, it doesn’t stay long at all.

  24. I like the thickness of my hair but I wish I didn’t have grey. I dye my hair to hide it and wish I didn’t have to.

  25. I really love how thick my hair is and it grows really fast, the problem with that is that it gets so hot!

  26. I like that I have natural blonde highlights but that I’m really terrible at styling it myself! I like cutting it sort in the summer but it gets long and a lot to take care of as well. 🙂

  27. Lesley F says:

I like that my hair has natural waves and is thick!

  28. David Fultner says:

I hate hATE how thin is. It is also dry.

  29. Natalie Brown says:

Hi! I’ve learned to like my dark brown hair after dyeing it blonde for years. It’s very fine but thick at the same time. Weird. I’m really glad that, at the age of 51, I have little to no grey hair yet. Yay!

  30. what id do not like it break and i am losing it a lot and then it thicck and dry the water damage a it alot

  31. I don’t like that my hair is so wavy. I always straighten it when I wear it down, which takes more time to get ready. I do love my high lights and low lights though!

  32. marla king says:

My hair loves to break & get stringy. I also have gray & I have to color a lot.

  33. Michelle M says:

My hair is so thick that I can’t have a hair cut that I truly want because it gets poofy.

  34. I don’t like the fact that it’s thinning. Another thing I hate is that it lacks volume.

  35. Jessica Haynes says:

My hair is really soft and straight, which is great. I also like the color – sort of a natural blonde ombre. I don’t like that it doesn’t hold curl, though.

  36. I really like that my hair is thick. I like the color of my hair a red- brown, but now this gray hair is EVERYWHERE!!!! OK it is not everywhere but it is there.

  37. My hair is very fine and and flat. It is about 50% grey/white and 50% brown. It is very hard to style my hair because of it texture.

  38. when I was younger my hair used to be thick and full. Now that I am older it is thin and graying.

  39. I used to love my hair, it used to be sooo thick. After I had my daughter, it’s horrible and thin as can be. Now that I’ve had my 2nd daughter it’s still the same…yuck.

  40. I like the fact that my hair is very fine, but that also leads to one of the things that I dislike the most–it is straight as a stick! I definitely need to keep to a very disciplined hairstyle.

  41. Gladymar Rodriguez says:

I love the texture. not too curly or too straight

i hate that it is too thick. it uses more shampoo than usual when the hair is long

  42. I like my hair overall, but I wish it had more volume. I have tried lots of things to give it more oomph, but nothing has every helped.

  43. I don’t like the fact that my hair is thinning. I also do not like some of the dandruff treatments that I have tried out on my hair.
