5 Must Haves for Your Diaper Bag + Babies R Us & Pampers Giveaway – ends 5/26

I have partnered with Babies “R” Us and P&G for this posting. We were sent a promotional item as a thank you for our posting. All opinions are those of our own.

DiaperBag Must Haves

As a mom to two girls, I’m always on the go. Since having two, I feel a bit experienced when it comes to my second and I know the must haves for your diaper bag you must have packed at all times. I wanted to share with you these important must haves and my reasons why!

1. Babies “R” Us Changing Station – This changing station is great and is a must have when on the go. Cleaning baby on the go is a bit of a pain and in my opinion those little changing pads that come in diaper bags are pretty much useless. Take it out and chuck it in the trash and replace it with this from Babies “R” Us. You’ll thank me when your baby has one of those explosive diapers and you need more surface area.

2. Extra Outfit – This is definitely a must have and may seem like a no brainer, but I can tell you from experience it’s sometimes an afterthought. I’ve heard so many stories of mom’s having to run into a store with a diapered baby just to buy an emergency outfit. It’s also a good idea to keep an extra shirt for you in the diaper bag too!

3. Pampers Wipes – These are great for on the go and they have different size packs to fit in your diaper bag. They are good for diaper changes, messy hands and faces after eating, or even cleaning up mommy messes.

4. Dreft – No, not the entire bottle, that would be silly. I keep a little tiny container of Dreft in my diaper bag at all times. I just pour some in a little plastic container with a lid. If my little one has an accident or makes a huge mess I use Dreft to pre-treat the stain(s) before I make it home to put it in the wash. This has been a lifesaver, especially when you have your baby or toddler in that cute little outfit you may have paid a little too much for.

5. Babies “R” Us 2-in-1 food tote – Whether you’re toting around bottles, baby food, sippy cups, or even water bottles for yourself, this is my new must have for the diaper bag. I wish I would have discovered it earlier, but this is a lifesaver too. It comes with an ice pack that you just throw in the freezer. If you’re going to be gone for a long period of time or even all day, you can throw in some drinks, fruit, food pouches, and keep them nice and cool in your diaper bag.

Those are my 5 Must Haves for Your Diaper Bag, there are obviously a few more, but I wanted to keep it simple for you. Being on the go with your baby or your toddler may sometimes seem like a chore, but if you have your diaper bag packed at all times, you will be prepared for any curve balls thrown your way.

  9. Thanks so much for the Fantastic Review on 5 Must Haves for Your Diaper Bag! Thank goodness I don’t need to carry a diaper bag anymore! However, I still have to carry a few things with me when I’m out and about with the kids! I always have wipes in my bag for those messy times, dirty hands & faces, etc. I also carry snacks like crackers and gummies just in case someone decides they are hungry! I carry tissues for their noses and for use if there is a spill or a need for it. If we are going to be gone for a while, I will also throw in a juice box or so, just in case! WOW! It does sound like I carry a diaper bag just without the diapers and changing blanket! I never thought of it that way until now! LOL I absolutely loved reading your 5 tips on what to carry! I remember those times when I forgot a change of clothing and really needed one! I was one of those mom’s going into a store and having to purchase something to put on my child!
