Cabin Place: The Place for Rustic Cabin Decor

This is a sponsored post on behalf of All thoughts and opinions are those of our own.

I’ve always dreamed of owning a vacation home in the mountains.  Oh the fishing, hiking, swimming and relaxing!  There is nothing better than sitting lakeside with a glass of wine, while my husband and kids catch and cook our dinner!  My family takes mountain vacations as much as possible and we always check out the local “for sale” listings and dream about making one of those homes ours.  This year it seems like it might actually be a possibility!  As I am a planner and a dreamer, I am starting to research and decorate our future mountain retreat before we actually sign on the dotted line.

Every time we vacation in the mountains, I admire the rustic cabin decor of the homes we stay in. I don’t know about you, but I tend to decorate based a lot on the location of the house.  I want to have the same feeling inside that I do outside.  So for our vacation home, we are going rustic!  I want wood, wildlife, and trees!  I recently came across Cabin Place, which has an amazing selection of rustic decor pieces.  The company says “At Cabin Place, we specialize in rustic cabin décor for the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bath. Our Mission is to provide you with quality products for your home, cabin, or rustic retreat that will convey a casual, relaxed atmosphere with a rustic charm.”

I adore everything that Cabin Place has to offer, but especially their curtains.  There are so many choices that will fit any type of rustic decor.   I particularly adore these Bear Lodge Valances and matching Drapes.

Wouldn’t they be perfect in a child’s room??  I have always LOVED bears, and being in the mountains, there will be lots of bears in my home.  However, I only want decorative bears in my home, not real ones!!

The Northern Exposure drapes will fit perfectly in any space but I am coveting them for our dining space and kitchen.

Oh my gosh and these Moose Lodge drapes??

They will be perfect in our Master Bedroom!  Cabin Place even has very cute matching drapery tie backs.  I love them!

Cabin Place is not just for curtains!  They have all types of matching decor pieces, such as rugs, bedding and lighting fixtures.  Cabin Place has such a variety of pieces, some are very unique and I’m not sure you would be able to find them elsewhere. Their decor pieces, especially for the kitchen, are adorable!  Their rustic decor is perfect for any home, not just mountain vacation homes!   I might have to pick up some pieces for our everyday home to bring some of our mountain memories to the stress and grind of daily life!

I sure wish we had a cabin. My dad collects anything with cabins on it, though! I did have an aunt and uncle that built a cabin out in the country. It was a very nice place to live. We visited it a few times. They have since passed away. I do believe one of my cousins got the cabin and they had to make some repairs on it and he’s currently living in it now. Thank you for blogging!!

  12. Nataile Brown says:

This style matches many of my friends’ homes in Wisconsin. I’ll have to take a look to get some gift ideas for them. Nice! Thank-you. 🙂

I love the country look! It just seems that your cares just go away…you relax, and feel so comfortable! I don’t know what it is, but this style suits me to a “T”!

  14. There is something cozy about a cabin. We rented a cabin in the mountains. It was nice in the evening sitting in front of the fire.

  15. I did a cabin theme for my son once. He loved it and we covered his room in things like this. I couldn’t find curtains like this cute though. I just had to go with a plain plaid fabric. These are just too perfect!

  16. Theses curtain are real nice

  17. I personally like the rustic look, a look that was very in in the 80’s. I used to install tile and all the designer’s colors w3ere on rustic at the time.

  18. Deborah D says:

these are the best looking accessories I’ve ever seen for a cabin.

  19. I love the wood look, as a matter of fact, most of my furniture is made of wood or has an outdoorsy feeling. My kids tell me to move up to the 21st century – that the wood look is out! Not to this old country gal. I went to The Cabin Place’s website and was there a while looking at all the unique décor. I really liked the toilet seat covers. I am a big fan of the Hickory Rocking Chairs. It makes our home feel down to earth & welcoming!

  20. Lori Pouncey says:

These decor colors and patterns are so great! I love the look of a cabin, or cabin period lol I would love to own a sweet little cabin somewhere on the lake. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful decorating themes 🙂
