If you know me or have read my blog over the years, you know I love saving money. When I come across a good deal I’m always posting about it, telling my friends, texting them, or calling them. All my friends come to me asking if I know of a deal, no matter where they are shopping. I sure do like to share a good deal when I find one though, and this one is awesome, especially with the upcoming holidays.

Kroger Double Dip

Those of you with a Kroger or and Kroger Family Stores (Dillons, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, etc), this is a deal for you! It’s super simple too! It’s time to start Christmas shopping, and you know what stores you will typically shop at, well as you probably know, Kroger sells TONS of gift cards to almost every store imaginable. Here’s the deal…buy gift cards to the stores you’re already going to be shopping at (or even buy gift cards as gifts), and you will earn 4x fuel points on gift cards!! This means instead of earning the typical 10 cents per $100 you spend for fuel points, you will be earning 40 cents per $100 your spend! Ummm hello, that’s an AMAZING deal!

You’re already going to be shopping at stores for the holiday season, so why not pick up your gift cards at your local Kroger, earn super cheap gas due to your 4x fuel points, and you’ll be saving all around!!! I know what stores I’m already hitting up for Black Friday, so I’m heading to Kroger to buy some gift cards for those stores, and then I’ll save on my gas too!!! It’s a win win situation all around!

Kroger Gas

There’s also another way to save too, if you use a credit card that you earn rewards on! You can use your favorite rewards credit card for your purchase, you can earn points, miles or a percentage back on your purchase. Some credit cards even offer increased rewards for purchases made at grocery stores like Kroger. For example, the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express offers 3% cash back on groceries, and the Blue Cash Preferred® Card offers a whopping 6% cash back! Capital One QuicksilverOne®, AMEX EveryDay® and Citi® Hilton HHonors credit cards also offer increased rewards for grocery purchases.

There are a few exceptions, so listen up!

  • All gift cards are included EXCEPT: Kroger gift cards, open loop gift cards (like MasterCard), prepaid debit cards & wireless cards.
  • This deal is only good November 18th – December 8th! SO RUN NOW to  your Kroger Family Store.

Now time for the giveaway!
One lucky winner will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
Open to US residents, 18 and up.
Giveaway ends 12/8/15.
