Review: Swaddle Designs- New Ultimate Swaddle Blanket

Everything Mommyhood received the products mentioned below in exchange for this posting.

This review is by Tiffany, our lovely blog contributor!

This pregnancy around, we’ve chosen not to find out the gender of our baby. Going “team green” as I’ve heard it called, hasn’t been very difficult for me…except that the gender neutral options you’ll find in the big stores aren’t great. A cute animal here or there, but mostly everything is very plain or gender-specific. This made shopping for blankets and swaddles a real pain! I was excited to see that Swaddle Designs had the most adorable designs for boys, girls, AND surprises like mine!

We received one of the new Swaddle Designs Ultimate Swaddle Blankets, with the Gray Fox print. The pastel sea crystal was a perfect shade of light greenish that I just adore! This color will be fabulous whether we have a boy or a girl! The cotton flannel of this swaddle is so soft and yet surprisingly breathable and light, ideal for all seasons. I raved about how soft it was and all of my kids came running to feel it, we’ve never had such a smooth swaddle blanket!

The Ultimate Swaddle is much bigger than I thought it would be, measuring 42 x 42 inches. It seems like it will be extremely useful for more than just swaddling, like as a stroller cover on windy days or even as a nursing cover. I love that this blanket is also made in the USA from USA-grown cotton! One of my favorite features is the little 1-2-3 Swaddle instructional label sewn right onto the blanket. I don’t know if you’re anything like me but I can’t figure out a proper swaddle for the life of me, so I need a quick reminder!
