GrowAndGoReview

As I prepare for the birth of my fifth child, I read through list after list of things you need. The lists vary from article to article and person to person, but one thing remains on them all…a car seat. Car seats are necessary today, to give your baby the safest ride possible through their little bitty lives. They can also be expensive, so I like to make sure that I am getting the best of the best for my money and making it absolutely worth every penny.

When I am looking for a car seat, I am firstly looking in a tier of relatively low pricing compared to others as I have four other children to buy for and that can get costly very quickly. Most importantly, I am looking for safety. I want a car seat that is of good quality, comfortable on long trips. Car seats with longevity excite me. The idea of not buying a new seat every year makes me one happy mama. Safety 1st sent me just the perfect seat for all of our car seat needs as a family!

The Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is a fabulous fit for our family. This seat grows with your family, beginning as a rear-facing seat for babies 5-40 pounds. Your child can forward face, remaining in the five-point harness, from 20-65 pounds. Then when your baby has finally reached that “Oh my, how did you get so big so fast?!” stage, they can use the belt-positioning booster for up to 100 pounds!

The QuickFit Harness system allows for easy height adjusting throughout all of this growing, without having to remove anything, and the three-position recline can be simply adjusted using just one hand. The fact that your child seems to sprout an inch every time you blink may do a number on your emotions, but it’s certainly never been easier to deal with in their car seat! I say this as someone who’s been through a lot of growing and car seat adjustments with my littles, especially my very tall seven year old! Another way the Safety 1st Grow and Go makes life easy is with the integrated harness holders that help get your child in and out of the seat easily, so you no longer have to dig for the harness and clips from behind them!

The Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat includes baby body pillows that help to make for a snug fit but also remove easily for older children. With my children as terribly messy as they are, I really appreciate that the car seat pad is machine-washable and dryer-safe, without having to remove the harness!! Despite the fact that I really have a no food policy in my car, we seem to have to clean icky things from the car seats fairly often and I love the idea of doing this without having to take everything apart.

Obviously, the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat fits all of my standards quite well. It’s safer to have your child in the rear-faced position and in a five-point harness for longer and this seat allows you to do so. Its high weight limits make for extended use in a safe and comfortable seat. Plus, its features make it so much easier to trek around with my whole gang, spending less of our time dealing with seats and more time having fun or getting errands done!

Overall, this seat fits in my car so much more easily than some of the bulky seats we’ve had in the past. Since I am fitting five children in a vehicle that seats exactly five kids in the back, this is important. The multi-level reclining is great compared to my son’s last seat, which seemed to recline so far back that it would bump into the passenger seat. My two year old says that it is extremely comfortable and I think that we would choose the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat over all of the other seats we’ve looked at with larger weight maximums because the quality is extremely good and the price is something that we can afford to buy five of!

  1. My favorite features of this car seat are the harness holders, one step harness adjustment, and the weight limit of the belt positioning booster. If I won, I would use this seat for my 6yr old! She’s in a backless booster and it makes me uneasy for some reason. I prefer to be as safe as possible in the car and she’s even asked for a “big” seat again since switching to the backless. After she outweighs it, it’ll be used for a future baby.

  2. I really like that this car seat last as long as your child needs one for! My daughter just turned four and I am about to buy her THIRD car seat!!! That’s alot of money spent on seats. Safety 1st is also a brand I really trust. Their products have great rating and this amazing seat is no exception. Thanks for he chance!!

  3. I like that it really seems like a one-size-fits all car seat. Unlike some that only go up to booster size, this really last the ENTIRE time you need anything for your kiddo. I also like that the harness is adjustable without taking the whole seat apart, but the liner is easily wash/dryable.. As an mom who is unexpectedly going it alone, I’d love to win this for my LO who will be here this week. Anything that can will help me be more financially stable, without sacrificing the safety of my child, is an enormous blessing.

  4. Switching brands is always difficult (my husband & I have the same car seat that my daughter & son-in-law have) but the car seat we have is constantly having to be moved from my car to his truck! So, my favorite feature is the fact that the Safety 1st car seat EXCEEDS all federal safety standards… this lessens the anxiety factor.

  5. Side impact protection is always a concern & I love the idea that Quick Fit Harness is easy to adjust – always something to consider with a fast growing child. I think my granddaughter will enjoy the comfort factor, no to mention the dual cup holders!

  6. Amber Ludwig says:

This car seat just truly sounds fantastic!! I lvoe that it rear faces up to 40 lbs and I love that the car seat pad is machine-washable and dryer-safe, without having to remove the harness! I cannot even tell you what I go through to clean my normal seat we use at the moment lol!

  7. A few other things I like about this carseat is it’s versatility. I would rather have one car seat for a long time rather than buying a new seat for every stage of life. Plus I can install it one time and be done until it’s time to switch it around. I like that the pads are machine washable. My baby had a blowout in her carseat once, and I was dreading clean up.

  8. Jodi Hunter says:

My Favorite feature is that is grows along side your child.

  9. I love that it last throughout their whole early childhood! I also really love that it has cupholders, that is really a must-have accessory in my book!

  10. I love that the child grows with it and not have to replace them every few months would be nice tie have for granddaughter so that she could spent more time with her grandma.

  11. Gladys Aguilar says:

I love that the rear-facing limit goes all the way to 40 lbs! This would be perfect for my son since he is nearing the 20lb limit for rear-facing in his current convertible. Thank you for the awesome giveaway!

  12. Cindy Kuykendall says:

I love all the awesome features of this seat. The main one is it goes to 40pounds. t grows with your child and the cup holder is the very best. Thank you for awesome giveaway

  13. I love this car seat! It looks really safe and I love how it will grow with my grandson. I really like that it has two cup holders! This would be for my grandson to use in my vehicle.

  14. I love the longevity of this product. I’m all for investing in products that are going to last. It looks incredibly comfortable, safe, and I also appreciate the ease of washing it!

  15. It looks he is comfortable and safe in this car seat. Soon to be a mummy 🙂 So thinking to get one before my little girl comes. Pretty excited!

  16. I love the fact that it is machine washable and dryable. My nephew needs a new car seat.

  17. I love the quickfit harness which makes it easy to secure my daughter.

  18. This definitely looks and sounds like an amazing car seat! I love that it grows with your child! I would love to win it for my baby girl, she is currently using her older brother’s hand-me-down and could really use a safer one.

  19. Richard Hicks says:

What I like about it is that it grows with your child

  20. Richard Hicks says:

The seat is designed very well. Also, it is easy to use which makes a difference. Would love to win this for my sister in law who has a little one.

  21. Gina Ferrell says:

My favorite features of this car seat are the QuickFit Harness system allows for easy height adjusting throughout all of this growing, without having to remove anything and the one step harness adjustment, and the weight limit of the belt positioning booster. If I won it will be for my daughter for a baby shower gift.

  22. I like that it grows with your child. Cuts down on the cost of buying a different one as they grow.
