Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival in Atlanta #CherryFest17

This is a sponsored campaign in collaboration with the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival. All thoughts and opinions are those of our own.

Last year I moved to the Atlanta area, and I’m always on the lookout for fun events and festivals that I can enjoy with my kids that don’t break the bank. I recently heard about the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival and I’m so excited to attend with my kids. I know they will really enjoy it and I can’t wait to take lots of photos and sharing with you after I attend.

Dates: March 25 & 26, 2017
Location: Blackburn Park, 3501 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Atlanta, GA 30319
Hours: Sat, March 25th 6am-9pm and Sun, March 26th 10am-9pm
Cost: FREE

I’m impressed with all of activities they have at the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival! There’s nothing better than bringing in the beautiful season of Spring, than enjoying this festival with more than 140 Cherry Blossom Trees in the 52 acre Blackburn Park.

Activities

Children’s Village – Face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses, rock wall climbing, games, and much more.

Classic Car Show – Antique cars, hot rods, trucks, and plenty of custom vehicles.  Prizes will be awarded to “Best in show,” “Best Interior,” etc.

Pet World – Bring your furry friends along with you to enjoy all of the family fun. There are plenty of fun activities for your furbabies – dog shows, pet parade, costume contest, adoption area, games, and prizes.

Musical Entertainment – Plenty of musical guests such as Breeze Kings, Gurufish, Ed Roland & the Sweet Tea Project, Wesley Cook, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, Willie Ziavino and the C.O.T. Band, DYN-O-MITE, House Broken, and more local talent.

5K and 1K Event – Have you been wanting to join a no pressure 5K or 1K event? Then this one is definitely for you. Bring your kids and pets, everyone is welcome to participate. This is an awesome family friendly 5K/1K event to give your kids a positive outlet to let out their energy.
