Thank You with the Thankr App! Now You’ll Never Forget To Send Them!

We have teamed up with Bloggin’ Mamas and Thankr for this sponsored post. All opinions are those of our own.

These days it seems everything is going digital, which is okay, because everyone is going that route. I know growing up I loved getting letters in the mail, but now I still like getting personalized emailed letters from family members and friends. Let’s face it, it’s just the way the world works now. Have you thought about “Thank Yous” though? Do you still write out “Thank You” notes like you did when you were younger? Or even make that phone call to tell a family member or friend Thank You? I will be completely honest and say I just forget these days just because “Thank You” notes sent through the mail are just a thing of the past. Not now though, thanks to Thankr!

Thankr is a “thank you” app that is now available on iOS. It uses a video platform to help make thanking people so much easier. It’s fun and super simple to use! You can choose to create a video or send a picture, personalize a note, pick a fun background and stamp, and send a Thankr via text or e-mail. It can be used as a thank you for gifts–birthday parties, graduation, shower, etc, or to say thank you for a fun playdate or someone’s help!

Since I became a mom, I’ve tried to send “Thank You” notes for my kids on their special days, like birthdays or Christmas, but now that they’re getting older it seems so much more difficult to get them to send those handwritten notes themselves, so at least with the Thankr app, they can still show someone that they appreciate their kind gesture.

I personally, was recently baptized, and I had people come in from out of town, and people who sent gifts as well. It was so nice to have people there to support me and show their love, but getting gifts was something out of the norm for me since I’m older now. I will admit because of  that I totally forgot to send handwritten “Thank You” notes, but since I have the Thankr app, no worries, I sent them out right away as soon as I remembered!!!

Here are some possible uses for the Thankr app:
First Communion
Valentine’s Day
Baby Showers

FREE on iOS!!!

  1. I grew up with saying the magic words. Please & Thank you! I am a huge card or note sender! I love thanking people for their kind actions! Especially the thoughtfulness of others that don’t have to do or say anything! Also to people who don’t even know you but took time out of their day to show you some kindness! When I was battling cancer, I received beautiful pick me up/optimistic cards from people I did not even know, but they knew one of my friends or family members or from the companies I worked at.
I love this app! Such a great idea! I shared this on a few social media sites. Thank you for sharing 😊

  2. This is so nice! I don’t have a smart phone, but this is the kind of thing that makes me really want one!

  3. Kelly Kimmell says:

I definitely think people don’t take the time to say Thank You. This might make it a little easier for some.

  4. What a nifty idea! I do like writing thank yous but forget. I love the uniqueness of thanking someone and the reminder!

  5. Love the idea! This makes thanking people so much easier.

  6. Linda Manns Linneman says:

This sounds like a great app. I need to check this out. I am still a firm believer in giving special thanks to those who do something special. Thank you so much for sharing this. God Bless
