5 Reasons You Should Add Omega-3 Fish Oil To Your Diet

So why Omega-3 Fish Oil you ask? As a mom, and as an adult who is continuously getting older (I know we all are…thanks Captain Obvious) being in the best health I can is important for myself and for my children and husband. When I went to the doctor a few months back, I had them do a full physical on me, and my cholesterol was right on the borderline of being high. My doctor recommended that I start taking an Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement daily as it would help lower my cholesterol. As soon as I heard that I began researching information on Omega-3 Fish Oil as I was intrigued. That’s how this post came about! (Please remember I am NOT a doctor, so this is just an article I have written based on information I have researched. They may or may not all work for you!)

Dr. Tobias Omega-3 Fish Oil is the fish oil I decided to go with and I’d highly recommend it. Read on to find out why you should add Omega-3 Fish Oil to your diet and then head on over to my review.

Who is Dr. Tobias?
Dr. Tobias is from Germany and has worked in the research department for Sports Science & Medicine. He gained a thorough comprehension of how the body works through scientific research. He also used his own body as a living experiment for his research. After he obtained his Doctoral thesis he worked as a top management consultant for a highly reputable consultancy in Germany. During that time he had a lot of health issues that evolved, so he left the management consultancy to focus on his health and to get better. He couldn’t get help from other Doctors, so he took matters in his own hands with his background of Sports & Science Medicine. After years went by with extensive research, he finally found a cure to bring himself back to a healthy state. Thus the Dr. Tobias health product line was born.

Reason 1 – Reduce Blood Pressure and LDL Cholesterol Levels

Omega-3 Fish Oil as well as eating fatty fish (I don’t eat fish often, so a supplement is best for me) can be heart healthy because of its high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce your blood pressure and risk of developing blood clots, as well as it reduces your low-density lipoprotein (LDL), the “bad,” cholesterol. In people who have already had heart attacks, fish oil or omega-3 fatty acids actually reduces the risk of sudden death.

Reason 2 – Boost Your Memory

I don’t know about you, but as I’m getting older my memory is not as good as it once was, so I can use some help in that department. Omega-3 Fish Oil can boost your memory! I was recently reading an article on a study done for 6 months where a group of individuals were tested in the beginning, and then after 6 months of taking a Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement their memory had improved significantly.

Reason 3 – Help Battle Depression

I’ve battled depression my whole life and I’ve been on and off of medications for years. I just don’t like the side effects and how some of them make me feel. Fortunately, Omega-3 Fish Oil fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) can be of great help to your depression, without all of the horrible side effects that come along with prescription medication.

Reason 4 – Lessen Chronic Pain and Stiffness in Your Joints

Arthritis and Joint Pain is a huge cause of disability in the United States, not only that, there are so many surgeries for knee and hip replacements, which costs 1000’s of dollars. Omega-3s convert into a powerful compound, to put the brakes on arthritis taking over your body. These compounds include resolvins, which help bring an inflammatory response in the body to an end. There are over 100 types of arthritis (although osteoarthritis is by far the most prevalent), and this is a way to lessen the intensity of arthritis. If you know someone who suffers, tell them to add Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplements to their diet.

Reason 5 – You’re Pregnant or Trying to Conceive

While trying to conceive and more importantly while pregnant, not only are the regular vitamins you find in prenatal vitamins important, but so are Omega-3s and especially DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). DHA is the essential super-nutrient for every mother and baby showed by recent studies. There have been dozens of studies done that indicates that DHA prevents premature births and increases birth weight, greatly reduces the risk of the mother developing pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes and high blood pressure, and significantly cuts the possibility of post-partum depression and improves attention and concentration in the post-partum period. Those factors alone are a good enough reason to add Omega-3s containing DHA into your diet.

Now since there are 100s of different brands of Omega-3 Fish Oils out there, I have done the research for you myself and highly recommend Dr. Tobias. He feels comfortable giving you a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 30 days after your purchase, which in itself is a good enough reason to try out his Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement.
