Everything Mommyhood was compensated for this post, all opinions are those of our own.

Family Meals are always so important. I make it a point to try my hardest to always get our entire family together for dinner every single night. Growing up, I didn’t always have that, but I think it’s so important to have that time together.

As a child family dinner was a must. It was never even discussed. At dinner, you sat down and ate, period.

My husband and I rarely have a sit down meal together. I get hungry once a day. Usually around 10 a.m. If I don't eat a bite right then, the feeling passes. If I eat any later, I feel sick and bloated all day. He's at work then. He gets hungry late in the day.

We always had dinner together whenever possible. It is so important that there is family time.

My parents always emphasized the importance of sitting down together for a family meal. Sometimes as a teenager I really hated it, but we did it anyway. I miss it now.
