babybulletHere’s Heather’s review from over at Fun With Four!

When you buy jarred baby food, you are trusting that company with your child’s health and safety.  Do we really know what goes into those foods?  With the Baby Bullet, you can ensure that the foods you are making are fresh and contain no hidden ingredients!

I’ll admit it.  I have fallen victim to jarred baby food.  I just didn’t know how to make homemade foods for Olive.  I tried using my food processor but it just wouldn’t puree items like I wanted or to a consistency that Olive enjoyed.  Plus it was messy, loud, and just not convenient.  I was starting to give up hope that I’d ever be able to share the joy of preparing homemade baby foods for her, that is, until the Baby Bullet came into my life!

Baby Bullet Mango

I started off with what I had in the house, a couple bags of frozen peaches and mangoes. After thawing the items in my fridge, I was able to get started.  I added the items to the batchbowl with the blend blade attached, placed it on the power base, pressed down and twisted to turn the Baby Bullet on.  I watched the mango and peach puree to the perfect consistency for Olive!

Baby Bullet PeachI loved being able to keep the mango a little thicker but make the peach thinner.  I’m able to customize foods to what’s best for my baby and I love that.  Plus, no hidden ingredients!  I know exactly what I’m putting into my baby’s mouth at all times.

Baby Bullet Storage Containers

I was able to store some fresh peach puree in the dial date cups.  These are beyond adorable but also a great size.  I’m in love with the dial date feature.  It’s so easy to turn and locate the date you made the foods.  No need to worry how long an item has been in your fridge like with baby food jars.  I know I’ve thrown out plenty of jarred foods after being unsure how long they were in the fridge for.

Baby Bullet StorageThe silicone batch trays are great for storing foods in the freezer.  You can just simply pop out the food when you need it and thaw in the fridge.  Clean up is a breeze too.  With just a little soap and water, I was able to easily hand wash the Baby Bullet items and air dry on my counter.

The included user manual and cookbook have been extremely informative.  There are lots of great tips, tricks, and recipes that I can’t wait to try out.  The Baby Bullet isn’t an “all-in-one” maker but it’s so simple to prepare your foods ahead of time that I really don’t mind.  Plus that makes the Baby Bullet a lot more affordable too.

I am so proud of myself for not giving up on my dream to make homemade baby foods for my daughter.  The Baby Bullet has truly been a blessing.  I feel so empowered that I am able to create fresh, safe, healthy and nutritional foods for her.  No more fillers or preservatives for my little girl!  It’s so simple to make up something for her on the spur of the moment from what we are eating for dinner or prepare foods to store for a week.

The Baby Bullet is a quality food making system that is convenient and affordable (oh and adorable too)!   I would highly recommend the Baby Bullet system for any parent who is interested in creating homemade baby foods!
