Welcome to the Boba 3G Carrier Review and Giveaway
I had the chance to review the Boba Carrier 3G in Tweet Print, retail value of $125. The Boba 3G Carrier was awarded the top baby carrier award for 2012.
Babywearing is a great way to be close to your child without having to carry him/her and hurt your back shoulders and more. The Boba Carrier makes it so easy with no strain on your arms, shoulders, or back.
The Boba Carrier was a carrier I never would have bought on my own, I always thought that it was an expensive price to pay when you can get much cheaper carriers for a lot less. Now I understand why the Boba is a little higher in price. It allows the baby to sit comfortably, and not have their legs dangle, which after reading online, those other baby carriers where their legs dangle can actually cause hip dysplasia! The Boba is not one of those carriers. I am not even sure why the other carriers are allowed on the market. Anyways, the Boba was so easy to put on, for front carry all you do is fasten it around your waist. Pick up your baby and hold him/her against you with their behind and legs in an almost M shape. Pull up one side of the carrier over one shoulder and then the next. If it’s too loose, pull the strap behind each shoulder to tighten or the straps, underneath your arms. Then reach behind you and click the top part closed. That’s it. It should take you less than 2 minutes to get your baby situated comfortably, properly, and ready to go.
The first thing I noticed about the Boba Carrier is it’s VERY good quality. It’s a heavier fabric with great stitching, just an all around good quality product. The Boba also comes with a hood for baby’s head that is tucked away in the zippered pouch, but it’s attached so it’s easy to take out and put over baby, even if baby goes to sleep. Also included are foot straps for your toddler. The hood and the foot straps come with the Boba Carrier 3G, where as in other carriers, these are an extra cost. This carrier can hold babies/toddlers from 7-45lbs. Just for laughs, I did put my 4 year old in the Boba Carrier, and I tell you, she was a little long (42 inches), but it was still comfortable for me to carrier her at 35lbs. The Boba 3G Carrier also allows for newborn carry without an insert. The other great feature of the Boba Carrier is the pockets. You can put your debit card/cash in a pocket, and even your keys. This makes for easy hands free days!
