Cleaning Tip: How to Clean Your Jetted tub and Bath Toys

When I first moved in our new house, I had never owned a jetted tub before. I had no idea that you had to clean the jets out until one day I got in, turned the jets on and dirt/grime came out into the water! Yuck! I researched the best way to clean them and found the best solution!

Fill your tub up with hot water at least 4 inches above your jets. Pour in 1 cup of bleach and also some dishwashing soap (make sure it’s for the dishwasher, like Cascade, Finish etc. NOT Dawn dish soap). It has to be dishwashing soap made for the dishwasher because it doesn’t get sudsy!

I like to throw in all the bath toys to clean them as well. It’s cleaning 2 in 1 with not that much work. Let your jets run for about 10 minutes. Drain the water and wipe your tub out, then rinse your tub and the toys. Everything is NICE and clean! We do this once a month and it seems to work really well!
