As a mom it’s no surprise that I’m always cleaning, I’m sure every mom feels this way. Years ago I used to hate vacuuming, until I owned my first Dyson. Then I loved to and I’d vacuum daily. My first Dyson was the cordless DC-59, and I love it. I still use it now, as I like how small you can make it to clean other things besides the floor. Now that I have the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Vacuum, I just use it for all of my floors and it’s amazing, which is no surprise.
As a member of the Best Buy Wolf Blogger program I was sent this amazing vacuum. Upon arrival I was super stoked to get my vacuum opened and put together. I had no idea it came with so many additional pieces which I thought was great as I know with some of the Dyson vacuums, you do have to pay extra for all of the accessories. I love this feature about the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Vacuum as I wouldn’t want to spend any additional money for accessories. I guess I just expect that a vacuum would come with everything you’d need.
Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy: Dyson continues to bring the best in vacuum technology – introducing Cinetic Science technology. The new line of Dyson upright vacuums with this technology will be the first vacuum cleaner to never lose suction and require no filter maintenance. Dyson was the first to get rid of the bag and now they’re getting rid of the filter – redefining best-in-class in floorcare.
Upon taking everything out of the box, I loved that there was a little card attached that showed just how to put your vacuum together. It took less than a minute to assemble it too, which was great!
The other great feature I love is the Dyson tote bag that comes with the vacuum. At first I thought hey this would be a great diaper bag (that’s the mom in me, and maybe an obsession of bags), but of course I knew it was for all of the wonderful accessories so you don’t lose any! I just hang mine on the back of the vacuum when I place the vacuum in the hall closet for storage. It’s very convenient to have everything right there.
As always with every Dyson vacuum it has an easy to empty bagless bin where all of the debris, dirt, dust, etc collects. It’s so easy to empty after every vacuum! You just press the red button to disconnect it from the vacuum base, and then empty right into your trash.
One of my biggest pet peeves with vacuums I’ve owned in the past was the short cord they were on. I never could get more than 2 rooms off of one cord, so another great feature about the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal & Allergy vacuum is that it comes with a super long 35 ft cord! That allows me to reach quite a few rooms now without having to stop and unplug, and then plug in somewhere else. As a mom, our time is valuable and we don’t have time for nonsense!
Here’s some more great info about the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal & Allergy Vacuum:
- New Cinetic cyclones are smallest yet, so they can spin out the finest dust and dirt. They oscillate to dislodge any particles that would typically get stuck in a cyclone that small.
- Cinetic cyclones allow for dust capture so small, that a filter becomes unnecessary. Thus, there are no dirty filters to wash, maintain or replace.
- Tested and proven with 10 years’ worth of dust. (Others claim “no loss of suction” by only testing one bin full of dust. Dyson used the equivalent of 10 years’ worth, and Dyson Cinetic never lost suction.)
- Cleaner head self-adjusts to seal in suction across carpets and hard floors.
- Cord length 35 ft
- Total Reach 50 ft
- Easy to empty collection bin
- Telescopic reach for corners, fan blades, shelves and much more.
- Additional accessories and tool bag, that’s a $184.95 value.
What comes with it?
- 5 year warranty
- Warranty information
- Quick start guide
- Operations manual
- Combination tool
- Stair tool
- Tangle-free Turbine tool
- Multi-angle brush
- Accessory tool bag
- Mattress tool
- Carbon fiber soft dusting brush
- Reach under tool
I’d have to say this is my favorite item I have reviewed to date. I have nothing bad to say about it. It works better than any vacuum I’ve ever tried and comes with a ton of accessories for any job. It makes my life easier as a mom, and that makes everyone else happy! It’s a win win situation!
If you’re in the market for a new vacuum, I highly recommend the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal & Allergy Vacuum. You can purchase it as of March 1st, 2015 at Best Buy and BestBuy.com for $699. I know that may seem pricey, but it does anything and everything you can image, as well as it comes with a 5 year warranty as well. Nothing can top that.
Do you have a Dyson? Which one do you have? What do you think about it?

I like that there is a bag for the accessories. The sweeper that I have now, you slide them on.Half the time they fall off or get misplaced. Especially when I'm busy changing hoses to clean different areas.

I'd KILL for a Dyson! Right now I have an old canister that works "OK" - just well enough that I cannot get myself to throw it away. Maybe somehow the engine will secretly break (LOL!) and my husband will give in and get me one of these!
