The busy time of year has begun and it won’t stop until the new year has begun! With Halloween comes your adult costume parties and the ones for your children at school, stocking up on candy for the trick-or-treaters, and so much more! My husband is an avid couponer and he would lose it if I shopped without checking the sales! He may have the patience to sift through tons of paper flyers (creating a big mess for me to clean up!), but I don’t. Flipp is a free iOS and Android app that makes this process so much easier on me!
Now is the season where Fall decorations start to fill the stores so I’m browsing my Flipp app each week to look for the cutest things to adorn my walls, tables, and yard. I love to get my home filled with the scents and sights of Autumn but I need the best prices. I don’t want to pay more for an adorable wax warmer complete with cinnamon and apple, just to find out that another store carried it several dollars cheaper! That’s several dollars that I could have used on a new scarecrow for my garden!
The candy prices have really become astronomical so if you don’t follow along to see who has the best deals on your favorite pieces, you’re really going to pay for it! I’ve been using Flipp for several months now and I find it convenient for all of our grocery and day-to-day shopping but Halloween is the time when I really start to become too busy and need everything planned out before I hit the stores with my list of very specific items!
With Flipp, you can search “costumes”, “candy”, or anything you need to find who’s got the most ideal prices. We tend to all dress up in costume, Mom and Dad too, so it can get expensive and every dollar saved counts. Stores will carry the exact same costume at ten to twenty dollars difference so you really need to know what’s out there!
You can clip which items you’ll want to purchase or make your own shopping list right inside of the Flipp app. If you know that you’re checking out craft stores for the best Halloween craft to bring along to the class party, you can browse by retailer. Choose your favorite craft stores to compare prices or even add them to your favorites list so that you see their new flyers each time they are released. I always have the craft stores in my favorites list because, well, craft stores are my favorite and the sales are very enticing!
If you’re looking to save a certain amount to keep within budget, you can actually search by the amount you need to save! I find that with our budget and family size, couponing and sale shopping is absolutely essential. We’ve saved hundreds this way and Flipp makes it vastly easier to keep up with your busy life. So many people, especially with families, say that they just don’t have time to keep track of sales and coupons but I think that Flipp makes saving fit simply into any lifestyle. There’s no collecting papers, sifting through one-by-one for the items you want at the prices you need, tossing the ones you won’t use. You can find where all of the most chilling sales are without ever having to hop onto your broomstick!

I like to save but am terrible about going through the Sunday coupons. I set them aside and usually go through them the following Saturday.
