HEOS5 by Denon Wireless Multi-Room Sound System Review – August #AudioFest at @Best Buy

As a Best Buy Blogger we receive new products they have coming our or want to feature for the month. This month (August) is Audio Fest at Best Buy, so we are reviewing an amazing product that I will tell you more about below, the HEOS5 by Denon. As a stay at home mom and a full time blogger, you can imagine that I love all things technology. My husband and I are always buying the latest and greatest tech items that come out. When we were offered the chance to receive the Heos 5 by Denon, we were both super excited as we actually hadn’t heard of it before and were in the market for an amazing sound system for our home.

Recently we haven’t been watching much tv, but actually listening to music while we are working at home, cleaning, sitting around chatting, having family game night, or what have you. Of course we have smart phones, so the HEOS5 by Denon just made sense.

HEOS by Denon is a Wireless Multi-Room Sound System comprising a family of great-sounding music players for your whole home. You can enjoy your favorite streaming music services, internet radio or your own music collection and set-up is a breeze. There is a free app to control them from your iOS or Android phone or tablet.

So let me tell you a little bit about this powerful sound system. It may be small and compact, but it sure does pack a punch. Upon taking it out from the box, I loved the shape of it. It’s a tear drop shape with a slanted front. It has a handle on the back, controls on the side, and of course inputs on the back. It’s very modern looking and doesn’t take up much room, but it really looks great and fits right in to our living room. It was super easy to set up on our wireless internet through my smart phone. You do have to download an app on your phone which is found in the Google Play Store or iTunes for your Android/iOS phone or tablet.

I love listening to music and we have plenty of those little portable bluetooth speakers, but let me tell you, they don’t sound anything close to the HEOS5. The bass pumps through the HEOS5 and can make your room shake. I have listened to all different genres of music through the system, and they all sound amazing. Here’s a little video I posted on Instagram with some music. It sounds much better in person, but I wanted to give you an idea.

The HEOS5 is definitely a sound system I recommend. I don’t know that I would have spent the money if I was given the opportunity to buy it, but now that I have it in my home and have listened to it for the past week or so, I can tell you it’s well worth the price. It has great sound and you can control everything from your phone or tablet with ease. I’d definitely give this product 5 stars.

The HEOS5 is available for purchase for $399.98 at Best Buy. The HEOS3 ($299.98) is ideal for smaller rooms, such as bedrooms or bathrooms, and are easy to move around the home.  The HEOS7 ($599.98) is ideal for large spaces, such as living rooms, great rooms; etc.
