The other night I couldn’t sleep and I thought about a few months back when I had wrote a few emails to some companies complimenting them on their products and how many great coupons I got. You can see that post here.
Anyways so I sat down and went through my head about products that we use, that I hadn’t written to previously. All you have to do is go to the webpage of a brand you like, and find a contact us button, or even an email address. Then just tell them a personal story about you like a certain product.
For example, I had been meaning to get Delilah a Kids Powered Toothbrush but I keep forgetting and she has been asking for one since I have a Sonicare toothbrush. I wrote Colgate and told them that. I also told them I loved all of their products and I asked for coupons. They sent me a coupon to get a FREE Colgate Powered Toothbrush.

I would say that it took me about an hour to write all of these companies and I have to say it was definitely well worth it. I will say that not everyone you write will send you coupons either. If I have to guess I would say about 8 out of 10 companies actually send coupons. Others will just tell you to print them off of their website. I took a picture of all my coupons so you could see!! I have tried and tried to get to these sites where I can get free samples and coupons and o have NEVER been able to get anything. I go to a site and then I am just redirected to some darn advertisement and I have just never had any luck with any of the sites. Can someone please tell me what it is that I must be doing wrong. Just wanted to ask a silly question. Am I the only one that has trouble using coupons at dollar tree? Even after the "manager" ok'd them, I ended up paying for my whole purchase without using any of my coupons. Everything matched up except one 30 cent off coupon for Irish spring multipack. And I thought 2 or more was a multipack but they said it had to be what was on the picture. The lady was saying it wasn't taking none of my coupons. I could have saved $10. I was a bit agitated and my husband finally said just forget them we will pay for it. But I wanted of course to save that money.

Ok, I have sent many emails to companies, some I have got coupons from, some not, but I have used all the coupons I have gotten, should I send emails to them again? Curious!

I do it about once every 6months. That way, their system is cleared of my contact info.
