As a full-time blogger and a full-time mom, I’m always busy and almost always on the go. Unfortunately for me, that means I always need to be connected to social media to stay on top of my blog and posts on social media. Checking on my phone isn’t always an option and sometimes it’s not always important. Having the Martian Notifier right on my wrist has been a definite life saver!

The Martian Notifier isn’t just a watch, you connect it with an app on your smartphone and you will automatically receive notifications right on your wrist — including Caller ID, texts, Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Email, Calendar, Instagram, Pinterest, favorite games, bank alerts, fitness stats, and any other alert your device allows. Anything that your phone or tablet does, this watch can do too!

Upon taking it out of the box I was rather impressed with the look and quality of the watch itself. It has a comfortable silicone band with several notches to fit a small or large wrist. It fits myself well (I have a larger wrist for a woman) and it fits my husband well too. While I do think the face itself is a bit big for a woman’s watch, I still think it’s a great piece and it doesn’t look bad.

It was rather easy to connect to the app on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and set everything up. You will literally get notifications from 1000s of apps! You set which ones up you want to notify you. For me Text Messages, Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter are at the top of my list, but there are MANY you can choose from to receive notifications from.

It’s also easy to connect via USB to your laptop or computer to charge the watch, which the battery lasts up to 6 days! The analog watch battery will last for a few years! The door to the USB plug was easy to open, but sealed well once closed. The red light indicates that you’re plugged in and charging.

Once you’re all charged up, you’re ready to go and show off your new watch! This is an amazing piece of technology that your friends will want to purchase too!

Wow that is different I have never seen, or heard of a watch that works with apps! So much for watches being just for time. I love the idea and it can be recharged by plugging it IN WOW mind blowed!
