If you were a fan of the original Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel, you will be happy to know that Marvel Studios has begun principal photography at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia!!!
Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” is slated to hit U.S. theaters on May 5, 2017!!!
Just in case you’re curious of who is returning back to the line up for this movie and who is new. The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldanaas Gamora; Dave Bautistaas Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell.
The original “Guardians of the Galaxy” was a hit with critics and audiences alike, earning over $770 million at the worldwide box-office, and holds the record as the most successful debut film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition, the film’s soundtrack went platinum and was nominated for a Grammy®. We’ll have to see if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 can uphold to the first movie!!!
We have a long 15 months to wait until it hits the big screen, but I’m sure it will be well worth the wait!!! Only time will tell!

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy when it was in theaters because I wanted to support something different. I'm glad this is becoming a movie franchise.
