Marvelously Well-Mannered Kindness Kingdom Board Game Review/Giveaway ends 7/7

kindnesskingdomI recently had the chance to work with Kindness Kingdom and review their lovely board game in exchange for my honest opinion. This game is for 2-4 players, ages 5 and up. Kindness Kingdom helps teach your child charm, politeness, etiquette, good manners, random acts of kindness, and great social skills.

My 4.5 year old had a bit of trouble with some of the questions, but she is very young for the game, so it was a great lesson for her. I always love teaching her with games, because she doesn’t get bored with it. Also, anything with princesses is a plus in her book! She loves the princesses, fairies, tea parties, etc. The purpose of Kindness Kingdom is to be the first one to collect all 8 neighborhood charms and the key to the Golden Gate and arrive at the tea party. This game lasted about 30 minutes, which was long enough (and short enough, whichever way you look at it).

A little excerpt about the game:
Kindness Kingdom is the first board game from parent company Marvelously Well-Mannered; aimed at teaching young girls useful tips as they wander through the gemmed game path on the way to Queen Grace’s tea party. Proudly made in the USA, the board game is ideal for 2 to 4 players, for ages 5 and up. Not only do children develop social and emotional skills but thoughtfulness toward others. Once a winner is determined, players are requested to cheer on the remaining players until all youngsters reach the finish line, arriving at Queen Grace’s marvelous tea party. Subtle illustrations such as a princess seated in a wheelchair reinforce empathy, a much-needed skill for kids to combat teasing or worse, bullying. The company’s website www.marvelouslywell-mannered.com offers general etiquette tips for children.

I loved all the colors in the game, it kept our attention and was fun. There are RSVP cards that you use to move through the game, and then question cards to collect a charm for your bracelet. Most importantly, I loved teaching my child manners by the wonderful questions/answer cards. This is a GREAT game that I highly encourage if you have children 5 and up!

You can purchase the game from Kindness Kingdom‘s site for $35.00.

One lucky reader will win the Kindness Kingdom board game.
US Resident, 18 and up only.
