Today is Sunday, September 12, 2010. 2 years ago today I was having my baby girl, Delilah. She has grown up so fast and I love watching her every single day. I absolutely love this age, as she learns a few new things every day. She makes me happy, she makes me smile, she makes my days bright, she makes me feel alive. I love her more than I ever knew I could love someone.
We are having a birthday party at the park today. An Elmo Birthday Party to be exact. I spent 4 hours making her birthday cake, which I was going to make cupcakes, but those turned out SUPER scary…so I went with plan B. It’s not perfect, but I enjoyed making it for my daughter. When I showed her she said “WOW” and her eyes got big, it was worth it to me 🙂 So this was my try at an Elmo Birthday Cake that was homemade.
