Quaker Breakfast Shakes Review & Coupon #QuakerShakes

A few weeks ago Quaker sent me two different flavors, Chocolate & Strawberry, of their new Quaker Breakfast Shakes to review on my blog! I was excited to receive these because I’m the type of person who doesn’t really like to eat in the morning, but I still need something for a boost of energy. I’m always looking for ways to incorporate more fiber in my diet, as well as something high in protein to keep me fuller longer. These new Quaker Breakfast Shakes have 8g of Whole Grain, 10g of Protein, and 6g of Fiber, at just 200 calories they are perfect for breakfast on the go. These are perfect for working adults who want to grab something quick in the morning, busy parents on the go, or even stay at home parents who just want to grab a quick breakfast without sitting down (or making a mess in the kitchen).

I tried both flavors, the strawberry was okay to me, and I REALLY love strawberries, but I think it was overpowered by the whole grains. I tasted whole grains more than the strawberry. It wasn’t bad, but it wouldn’t be a flavor I would choose. The chocolate was really good, it tasted very similar to chocolate milk. The texture is nice and smooth, a little on the thicker side, but not too thick. It was just right. I was glad they didn’t have a chalky taste as a lot of shakes tend to have. They were both easy to drink and they left me filling full until lunch time. I would definitely purchase these to have in the fridge to grab in the mornings for breakfast.

Quaker Breakfast Shakes are available in three flavors; Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla. You can purchase these at your local retailer or supermarket.
You can also grab a coupon for $2 off your next purchase here!

A few of you asked for the nutritional info so I’m adding it here:

This is the first I have seen these. We have bought breakfast drinks for the family but a different brand and we love quaker oatmeal and other products so I am interested in this one.

I really want to try these, I too have had my share of experiences with not so good tasting shakes, but I'm always looking because time is so crunched in the mornings, these would be more than just a substitute, they'd actually be good for us. We're going to give these a try...

This is new. I'm not a person that can eat in the morning. I usually have a glass of milk or instant breakfast drink. I'm going to try these. With these drinks, I find if I put them in the freezer for an hour or so, they taste better. More like a milkshake.

In my experience these types of breakfast shakes do not taste good, how does this taste? It sounds very healthy, but for me it comes down to taste. Thank you for this review.
