This recipe is Mmm mmm good, and I get so many requests for this for all of the get togethers I go to. It’s one of my favorite salads, and I’ve been making it for 10 years and I never get sick of it. I mean really, it’s got bacon in it, how could it be bad?? It’s super easy to make too!!
Ingredients:
1 large head of broccoli (or 2 of the pre-packaged bags)
1/4 cup of red onion
1/2 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of vinegar (I used white, but you can use red wine vinegar)
8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
Directions:
-Cut up the broccoli so it’s only florets, and make sure they are in bite size pieces.
-Chop up the onion, small dice.
-In a separate bowl mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar.
-In a large bowl throw in the broccoli, onion, raisins, and bacon.
-Pour the dressing over the top and coat to mix well.
-Refrigerate for a few hours before eating. While in refrigerator, stir every hour or so.

This salad looks AMAZING! I love salads that mix fruit and vegetables, and the raisins are perfect to add a tinge of sweetness. Thanks so so much for sharing! :)
