Recipe: Crock Pot Zesty BBQ Chicken

My friend Erin sent me this recipe awhile back and I had wanted to try it, I have had this cooking for a few hours and it smells so delicious. The mailman said my house smells amazing and that he will be back for dinner, and he was just in the doorway! I figured I would share with you all.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken BBQ

Ingredients:
* 6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce (FYI most bottles are bigger than this!!)
* 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce ( left this out because I didn’t have any)

Directions:
1. Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the barbeque sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.
2. Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.

I plan on serving this over rice, and if there are leftovers I will just make little BBQ Chicken Sliders!

I love how tender and juicy the slow cooker makes chicken. This would be a great recipe to eat like you over rice or to shred for sandwiches. My family was just talking about BBQ the other day and how good it smelled. Doing it in the slow cooker would fill your house with those wonderful aromas.

Super easy with minimal ingredients. We'll have to try this.

I just made chicken in my crock pot yesterday that contained brown sugar and it turned out way too sweet. But since this has the salad dressing to counterbalance the sweetness, I think I might like this one. Like the little sliders idea!
