Last night I made a dish I hadn’t made before, I have had these before and they were good so I wanted to try them out on my own. I found a few different recipes online, but some of them sounded so bland. I made my own version.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck (beef or turkey, I am sure you could use anything)
1 cup of uncooked minute rice
S & P
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
dash of chili powder
1 egg
handful of bread crumbs
1 can of tomato soup
1 5 oz can of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of milk
2 teaspoons of A1 sauce or Worcestershire (I used A1 because I didn’t have the other)
1 Beef Bouillon cube
1/2 medium onion diced very small
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl mix an egg, spoonful of the tomato soup, ground chuck, bread crumbs, onion, garlic powder, chili powder, S & P, and rice.
Make into meatballs and place in a shallow baking dish, I made about 18 meatballs with mine.
In a separate bowl microwave the beef bouillon with the tomato sauce just so the cube dissolves.
Mix in the tomato soup and A1 sauce, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour mixture over the meatballs.
Cover dish with foil and bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve over rice!

Well, I never heard of this one before think I'll try it on the man I live with. grrrrrrrrrrrr I'm so mad at him right now I could give these to him raw and say enjoy your supper! We went for a walk and I don't walk to well due to a back surgery gone wrong. So lagging behind and it's getting dark he went ahead of me didn't wait at all I came home said nothing and he said sorry I didn't wait for you and then he said something else, but I didn't hear him and then he said I guess I'm looking for something else. I said, something else??? You know! I said no, I don't know. He says, "You know looking for someone else". NICE, I said. Now the quiet treatment. Not sure if it's coming from me or him.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr SO MAD. ALL I DO FOR HIM and he says all that crap to me. Oh well, sorry I didn't mean to dump on you. Have a great weekend.

I make a different variation of these, I use cream of celery(or some type of cream soup). My family loves them.

We love meatballs. I never thought of using rice, but wow, it sure looks good. This is one to try!

We really like meatballs. They are so versatile. You can use them alone, with pasta or even sandwiches. I like your version, it looks tasty and it looks easy.
