Recipe: Simple yet Tangy Deviled Eggs

DeviledEggs

Now I know everyone has had deviled eggs, and I have tasted SO many different kinds, and I still have never tasted any that are like mine. While the ingredients sound simple, they are GOOD. Tangy, not overly sweet, seasoned, and just YUMMY. I have had several people request me to make these at get togethers, and also people requesting my recipe. I never really had a recipe though, as I just KNEW how to make them. I finally took notes though, and got the recipe perfect! These are perfect for Easter!

Ingredients:
18 Hard boiled eggs (36 halves)
1 Tbsp of regular mustard
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 Cup of mayo (NOT miracle whip)
3 Tbsp of regular white vinegar
2 tsp sugar
Paprika

Directions:
Boil your eggs, let them cool. I usually put in cold water and set in fridge before peeling.
Peel your eggs and rinse off, then pat dry.
Cut in half, spoon hard yolk into mixing bowl.
Smash all yolks til they are completely crumbled.
Add ALL ingredients except for Paprika.
Mix together.
If mixture is too thick, you can mess with the mayo or vinegar to thin it out a bit.
Spoon or pipe into egg whites.
Top with Paprika.
Refrigerate until time to eat!

That’s it! ENJOY!!!

This does sound like a nice way to make it more lively without having any herb or spice that many might not like.

Oooh this looks fantastic! One of the foods we eat during tree trimming at Christmas is Deviled Eggs. We've been doing that since I was a little girl. It's still one of my favorite snacks to enjoy! :)
