Purex is a laundry detergent I love, it’s cheap, it works well, and it leaves my clothes smelling amazing. I recently had the opportunity to review a NEW Purex detergent, Purex plus OXI. I have to say the first thing I noticed about this detergent was the smell…it was heavenly and it reminded me of a childhood friend’s house, so that was a positive for me.
I used it while washing with hot water, and I also used it while washing with cold water. It worked perfect. No complaints at all! I still can’t get over the smell, yum. (I know, I’m a little bit weird.) The best part is this…we just went away for a week to Texas, I didn’t wash clothes while I was gone, and I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old…so yes, we had very very set in stains. I didn’t use a pre-treater, and they were gone when using this detergent, first wash. I was so surprised!
