I haven’t always lived in Jackson, MS. In fact I have only lived here for 4 years, but in that time I have really learned what spots to hit up with my children. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, and we are always on the go. We are a part of a local playgroup that I co-organize, so I’m always making events to get us moms and kids out of the house. I was recently sent the Summer Infant 3Dlite Convenience Stroller to take a stroll through the Jackson Metro Area to show you places we like to visit!

One of our favorite places to go is the Jackson Zoo, located in Jackson, Mississippi.

Not only do they have animals to see, but they also have a petting zoo, train ride, carousel ride, and a splash park! We always hit up the splash park right before we leave since it’s towards the front of the zoo and we are always hot by the end of our walk through the zoo.

I was impressed with how well our stroller did through the different terrain throughout the zoo area!

Another one of our favorite places is The Children’s Museum, located in Jackson, MS. While I didn’t grab any pics of us using the stroller while there, it was carrying the diaper bag and sippy cup for my 2 year old while she was busy playing. I snapped a few pics of the museum. They have so many fun things to do for kids of all ages. We have a membership there, so we get to visit often. It’s one of our top places to go, and it’s GREAT when it’s super hot out or cold, or even rainy! So many fun things and it’s indoors, with air conditioning!

We also like visiting the Mississippi Outlet Mall in Pearl, MS as well as Dogwood Festival Market in Flowood, MS. Both have lots of great shopping areas, and the outlet mall has a fun kids playground that my kids like playing on. Both areas are just a few minutes from the Jackson, MS area.

One of our most visited places, only because it’s close to our house (we live in Madison, MS just 10 minutes North of Jackson, MS) is the splash pad located at Colony Renaissance Outdoor Mall. It’s free and my girls love playing at the water fountains. We also enjoy hitting up Starbucks inside Barnes and Noble, or even a quick bite to eat at Sweet Peppers Deli, PF Changs, or Five Guys! It’s also a great place to visit for date night with the hubby, we enjoy walking around at night time and hitting up Ruth Chris Steak House for dinner.

One more place that is a must visit, is our beautiful Capitol building downtown. I have actually not been during the daytime, but it’s GORGEOUS lit up at night!

Now let me tell you a bit about the stroller! This is the first stroller that Summer Infant has on the market, and myself and my husband, both, were very impressed with it.
