Ubooly Product Review

ubooly1I’m sure you’re asking, what the heck is an Ubooly??? Ubooly is a fun, educational, and interactive toy that plays with your child. It’s super easy and fun to use! Ubooly sent us this cute little guy (or girl) for free in exchange for our honest review.
To use Ubooly, you just use your smart phone and download the free app through Google Play or the App Store. You then can customize the app/Ubooly to your child and keep your child busy forever. Ubooly is powered by your smartphone and is tucked away inside so even if your child drops Ubooly, your phone is safe and cushioned. My 5 year old actually really liked the Ubooly a lot, and asks to play with it almost daily. Ubooly is an ever changing toy, so it’s never the same day to day, which is great in keeping a child’s attention.
uboolycollageAs you can see here, this is my 5 year old playing with the Ubooly. Ubooly was telling her to stand up, hold him/her up, dance, etc. Ubooly even asked her questions about what she likes and my daughter would have to answer. She thought this was really cool, at first she was kinda stand offish about it because none of her other toys talk to her, so this was quite different! I think it’s a neat concept for sure.
uboolycolorsUbooly, the customizable toy, was funded by Kickstarter. Ubooly was founded in 2012. In Boulder, Colorado. By Isaac Squires and Carly Gloge. Ubooly was funded through Kickstarter, and is alumni of the TechStars’ 2012 class. Their company’s mission is to create the most entertaining (and cuddly) automated learning experience for children. Ubooly is the brand new stuffed animal that powered by your iPhone or iPod touch. Ubooly not only listens to kids, but also has a lot to tell your child. Ubooly loves to play interactive games, “choose your own adventure” stories, and hilarious jokes.

Here’s some more information about Ubooly:
Ubooly knows your child’s name, likes the same: colors, interests, food, hobbies etc.
By purchasing credits parents are able to unlock Educational, Interest, and Helper packs.
Content packs are all designed to be age appropriate for different age ranges (3-9)
Content packs are written by a large team of elementary teachers & educators.

The only downside to Ubooly is my Samsung Galaxy S4 didn’t fit inside, but my iPhone4 did, so we ended up using the iPhone instead. All in all though, I like the Ubooly and so did my 5 year old. I really like how it’s customizable!

Make sure you stop by and like Ubooly on Facebook, and follow Ubooly on Twitter. Also check out the Kickstarter campaign!

These are so adorable. I am glad you shared that it works best with an iPhone, which I don't have. I'm an Android lady. Great review and pictures.
