We made it to Mississippi on Saturday. We drove through the night, left FL at 8pm on Friday and made it here at noon on Saturday. We had to stop a few times for a couple short naps because I was unfortunately falling asleep while driving.
We absolutely love our house. Things are slowly coming together, we bought a new tv, and we went and picked out new living room furniture that came with tables, a tv console, and a 50″ plasma tv. Unfortunately the living room set is on back order because it was such a good deal, so we have to wait a few weeks before we will have it delivered. Right now we are sporting a super ugly ass orange couch. Although that’s better than having no couch at all. I also bought a beautiful area rug for the living room. Delilah got to pick out a chair for her to have, and she picked out a Dora chair. She suckered Daddy into buying her a $150 chair, I am going to make a cover for it, because it is bright pink with a big Dora face on it, and frankly it hurts my eyes.
Tim is liking his job a lot and it took him 4 minutes to get to work yesterday and 5 minutes to get home. This is a big change as when we were living outside of Tampa he was driving 1.5 hours to get to work and almost 2.5-3 hours to get home because the traffic was so terrible.
I will be taking some pictures as soon as I get things put away, I am over half way done, but I want everything perfect before I share with everyone 🙂
